August 2010
Matthew Burrows has been awarded the SFIA (Skills Framework for the Information Age) Foundation Accredited Consultant certification following the successful completion of the official SFIA training course. BSMimpact use SFIA with clients when benchmarking ICT skills and designing organisational structures for maximum efficiency.

Dave Redding has joined BSMimpact to lead our Sales & Marketing function. Dave brings 15 years consultancy-lead sales experience in the Enterprise ICT management solutions arena. Having worked with many large clients and been exposed to the full gamut of ITSM vendor software solutions, he is perfectly suited to leading the technology-impartial approach at BSMimpact.

Maxine McMahon has joined BSMimpact as Office Manager. Maxine brings 14 years of IT Service Management and ITIL Best Practice experience with her having honed her skills at a number of leading consultancies, service providers and membership organisations including itSMF UK.

In March, BSMimpact was pleased to be nominated by TMForum for an Excellence award in the Industry Leadership category. BSMimpact was therefore delighted to be informed that a panel of judges has selected BSMimpact as one of 6 Finalists in this category.

On the 11 March 2010, BSMimpact was pleased to receive confirmation from the TMForum that it had been nominated for an award under its “Excellence” programme. This nomination was in TMForum’s “Leadership” category of awards, given to member companies “demonstrating leadership, dedication and commitment to the Forum's industry collaboration activities, and overall progress in the industry”.
 
March 2010
On the 10th March 2010, BSMimpact achieved certification of its internal Quality Management System to ISO9001:2008 Standard. BSMimpact is a leading advocate of the value to be gained in taking a Standards-Based approach to service management. The achievement of ISO 9001 certification therefore represents a major step forward in applying this approach to the way BSMimpact manages its own business.
 
December 2009
On 9th November 2009, Matthew Burrows, Managing Director of BSMimpact, was elected as the new President of the Institute of Service Management. As part of this role, Matthew is on the Management Board of itSMF UK, with responsibility for SFIA (Skills Framework for the Information Age) and the Institute of IT Service Management.

9-10th November 2009: The Birmingham Metropole - Matthew Burrows and Julian Browning will be presenting “Service Management won’t just be about supporting business processes”, and will be taking part in a discussion on Service Management in the Telecommunications industry
